A well-known and unscrupulous behaviour therapist from glamorous Miami Beach, comes up with the absurd idea of organizing a psychological retreat to study and speculate with his patients about the ethnic differences, if any, between the American and Hispanic cultures, to find better ways to get along and blend in; and, eventually, to create a new breeding of Americanized Latinos and Latinized Americans.

He gathers twelve unique elements, six women and six men, half of them born and raised main stream Americans and half of them
relatively recent Hispanic immigrants, to observe them as they blend and share life experiences for a projected session of fifteen hours.
From the beginning, both sides clash in confrontations mostly inspired by regular human pettiness that have very little to do with their ethnic
backgrounds and upbringings. The therapist, with the unwilling assistance of a man of faith, manages to come up with a mystical,
yet unexplainable hoax to keep them prisoners for an undetermined period of time; and at the restrain and the impossibility of leaving the premises,
the best and lowest instincts blossom.
